You should indeed go to Rutheran vVillage, but intead of the boat, on the most western dock there is a portal to Exodar. Last i remember you wont be attacked on the bot by NPCs…. You can take a boat to Azuremyst from there. Then, just like you did, go to the Rutheran Village. There are no more ships. You may be able to mount up on a flying mount, but it will not fly in blood elf Eversong Woods or Ghostlands or draenei Azuremyst Isle or Bloodmyst Isle starting zones.
You can use multiple methods of departure to leave Azuremyst Island and head to the mainland, including both sea and air travel. It is located just outside of the Exodar, which is the Draenei capital. Board the boat when it arrives at the dock. The Cleft is a corrupted furbolg den located north west of Dolanaar in Teldrassil. The furbolg here are part of the Gnarlpine tribe and are led by Ursal the Mauler. Well to get out of it you need to go through a pink portal in Darnassus, and either take one of those flying things or the boat.
To get in you need to take a boat from Darkshore, and go through the portal in Rutheran Village. To get to the Exodar as a member of the Horde players must take the boat from Teldrassil.
Players will fly over fatigue waters for a bit, but not long enough to get sent back to the mainland. Once in Teldrassil simply take the boat over. Getting there. Be wary: it is not possible to use flying mounts on both Azuremyst and Bloodmyst islands and you will have to make your way through enemy territories on the ground.
This boat will take you to Auberdine where you can catch a boat to Darnassus or Menethil. There are two portals in Exodar. If you are entering the Vault of Lights from the Seat of the Naaru center , go left at the stairs and you will find two portals: one to Darnassus and the other to Hellfire Peninsula.
The portal looks like a hazy pink tent under a tree. From there you can take a Boat to Stormwind. An Alliance race that has built their city known as The Exodar around their crashed ship. Azuremyst Isle was attacked by the Burning Legion in the previous World of Warcraft expansion Legion and players were sent their to help defend it from this impeding evil.
It later became the area where players would start their mission to invade Argus and put an end to the Burning Legion once and for all. This island is home to many quests for beginning players as well as high level players who have taken up arms against invading enemies. What started out as the simple home to the Draenei has evolved into something much more since the previous expansion.
